the last visa

And I am not jinxing it! Christopher did his last day of visa interviews today. Unless he really messed up at some point in the last few months. But let's not worry about that. The good news is that tomorrow we leave for a week in Michigan, and when we get back, he'll start in American Citizen Services. Whatever that is - it's got to be better than visas :-)
In other news, Salem has started giving me hugs. Well, he wraps his arms around me and holds on, anyway. He is also walking. Not all the time and not very steadily, but two, three, four steps at a time, not holding on to anything. He also has his eighth tooth coming in. He has mastered getting on and off the bed - that's off the bed feet first, not head first.

For pictures, we have some from our lunch stop at Lake Quinalt, from our vacation now over a month ago.
