Two weeks ago Salem started opening the drawers in the kitchen. Last week he climbed into the dishwasher. Sunday he waved 'good bye' for the first time. Yesterday he opened the kitchen cupboard. And today he flushed the toilet - while I was sitting on it. I would have peed my pants in surprise except for that I had already gone.
