Beach Day!

We finally made it to the beach.  We got a ride from Kenny Rogers, the Embassy-favored taxi driver.  It was just a 45 minute drive out to Fort Clarence.  Not too bad at all - and a pretty nice quiet beach. Christopher refused to wear sunscreen and is now looking a little lobsterish.  I wore sunscreen and have some very pretty patterns on my

 back.  We tried bammy, the local pulverized baked/fried cassava dish.  It tasted fried.  I'm thinking maybe it's better together with something else.

We also passed some sugarcane on the way.  And another excellent road sign.
