Today was Salem's first day at daycare. The teachers said he was fine today, but that sometimes it is the second day that is a little rough. He was playing when I got there, although not quite his normal cheerful self. But by the time we got home he was as cheery as ever. For me, it was a rough day.
And we might have a house! We have a ratified contract but still have to go through all the inspections. The sellers want to settle by Jan. 31st, but we talked to the bank today and they said they could do Feb. 8th, which is still not bad. It’s a cute little house in Falls Church, where the really good schools in the area are.
In the meantime we're in one of those furnished corporate apartments not too far from FSI.
Christopher and I also started French training today, although really it was just a bunch of orientations and personality testing. Real classes don't start until Wednesday.

Where are you guys residing these days? Have you moved already? Miss ya, -j
Hi Sarah,
The house looks cute and charming. I bet you love it. Hope French and daycare go OK.
Love you all!

We're in Arlington, VA. We have half-moved, because we're not going back to Kingston, but we're not really settled in a house yet. We're in a temporary furnished apartment for a month until the house settles.
Whacca! Welcome back, lady (and gents, of course)!
When the dust settles a bit, give me a yodel. I'd love to catch up.
