Second tooth

was not far behind. It came in this Monday while we were up at Holywell. We finally managed to rent one of the cabins up there and our two nights there filled our longing for cold damp rainy weather. No, I'm not being a smarty pants. After too long in the sun I start to miss the fog. It was also delightfully quiet, and so dark at night that Salem was scared when he woke up to eat - we actually had to turn a light on.
In other news, Salem is officially crawling now - not just scooting backwards, but alternating legs and hands crawling forward, head usually down, sometimes crying, sometimes smiling/eager, and always with a purpose - be it find mommy, get to power cords to knaw (don't worry - the electricity here is different, so it is ok), or toy to grab.

We are back from the mountain serenity to the Kingston grit...In other news, Dr. Silkie hosted a baby group, Christopher issued some immigrant visas, and it's time to go to sleep.

The phrase "Dr Silkie" still sounds very nice! I can't wait to become a "Dr" too!

Congrats on Salem's progress....scooting! Knawing! Wow!

With love
