Ocho Rios

We went to Ocho Rios (called Ochi by the locals) over the weekend, with a bunch of people from Christopher's work.  Note the enormous cruise ship in the upper left corner of the picture - this is the road into town.We stopped in town for lunch at Mama Marley's cafe - supposedly owned by Rita Marley herself.
Dunns River Falls was our next
stop.
Climbing the falls is a major tourist attraction.  Imagine a line of a couple hundred cruise ship
people, hand in hand making a
chain going up the falls.  (I didn't take a picture, since this view is available in most guide books about the area). It is possible to start a little bit above them and go on your own, but we opted out since I was still feeling a bit sick from the car ride.  Despite the hordes of scantily clad tourists, it remains an amazingly beautiful waterfall.  The view of the ocean from the falls is pretty
nice too.  We spent most of our time on the beach down below the falls.
In addition to tourists, the park was home to enormous spiders!
